just finished chewing my peppermint nougat while studying- memorising bio which i will regurgitate hours later and my mum asked me to finish up the plate of chaykwaytiao.
the difference in taste.

bittersweet-
suddenly just thought of this word. its an ironic word isnt it?
just realised, we are somehow been through with things that are ironic.
maybe we can say that we are ironic people to start with? (which we normally tend to deny- by natual instinct) or how else would it come about.

lets say.
thai food. many of us like to eat the sweet and sour whatever dish there is. sweet and sour is of a completely opposite taste. sweet only is sweet, sour which isnt that nice if taken alone (with exceptions to people who enjoy sour things). but when the two combine, it gives quite a sensory satisfaction.
or another examples be popcorns.
i believe many of us would mix our popcorns- buying a sweet and salty mix.
maybe because some of us couldnt make up our mind on which sepcific one we want or that you just enjoy both.
well on this kind of occasion, you definitely had the choice to take both.
back to my point, they do not seems to be a compatible taste. but somehow, people liked it.

being totally random.
art. they say blue and orange are contradictory colours. as, in a sea of blue, you see spots of orange, wont it be awkward? or the other way round, in a big splash of orange, you see blue speckles all over, wont it stand out?
but yet, they are of complimentary colours somehow. both, will somehow gives a refreshed aura, or a sense of compatibility with one another.
just like red and green. the christmas colours we always use.
the two alone, when compared one at a time, the initial reaction would be. dots dots dots for the two unseemly colours. or whatever you've thought unless you are weird.

alright.
however. there should be some limit to the extend of the different different.
bitter and spicy. or even salty and bitter. imaigne, it would taste rather eww, wont it?
or, a lion and a monkey. or, green and pink? weird isnt it.

and so, this two arguements itself seems rather ironic as well eh?

maybe i am just talking nonsense.
solution? think the taiji. the half black and half white circle with one small dot of the opposite colours in the different colour. aye, the taoism sign.
lol, maybe that will explains it.

i think i am turining nuts.
